Airports are not 100 accurate, but most prominent buildings and features were taken into account. The land class and terrain profile immediately surrounding the airports were updated (e.g., hilly terrain and andulations).
All scenery elements are based on default FSX Scenery elements, so NOTHING WAS GRAPHICALLY DESIGNED. Default buildings from FSX that closest resembled the actual buildings were sized and arranged in order to create the closest possible look and feel of the real airports. Jetways, trees, airport vehicles, parked vehicles and many other elements were added as needed. That means that your frame rate should stay relatively intact. All airports, except Courchevel and Lukla are featured with AI Aircraft traffic. That means that aircraft parking and fueling is ample, night lighting was added to runways where needed, and tower and other communication frequencies were added. Please note that aircraft parking, Communication frequencies and ILS frequencies are fictional. The main aim of this package is maximum enjoyment and even though we have not graphically designed anything, our airports and surroundings provide a bigger experience of most Extreme Airports, and enable you to test your skills around these airports to the maximum. That too is a change form 1.6.35. Only those airports that are actually used that are missing from airportList.dat are ever reported missing. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general. ![]() For a better experience, please enable JavaScript in your browser before proceeding. So Ive removed FS9 and installed FSX on my laptop where I compile my AI. And let AIFP 2.1.05 compile my FS9-traffic to FSX-traffic files. I also let AIFP create a new airports.dat file from FSX. When I choose to validate my traffic, it validates OK, but I dont see a list of missing airports any more. Doesnt show with 1.6.35 too. Fsx Airports List How To Get TheAnyone got an idea how to get the list of missing airports. ![]() The other possibility is that you have warnings suppressed (Options menu). Missing airport messages are considered warnings since AIFP uses the data from the trafficairport files when it encounters an airport not in AirportList.dat. Don. What I did was a fresh install of FSX, then let AIFP collect airports from FSX only (default only as it was a fresh install). ![]() Both 2.1.05 as well as 1.6.35 validated ok but without a list of missing airports. Then I tried converting my FS9 traffic again but this time with 1.6.35 (also did a collect airports from FSX default only first). This time it compiled perfectly AND gave me a list of missing airports, 325 total. So Ive found a kind of work around, but it would be nice if you could still put this issue in the bug-list, but no need for a high priority on my account. What I also noticed is that in the report that there are a lot of symbols visible. Dont have a screenshot at the moment to show you, but maybe you already know what I mean. With the additional info you provided, I think I know whats going on. The last couple of releases of AIFP2 suppress airports missing from AirportList.dat messages on file loading. A number of users were interpreting that message as an indication that the file was unusable. Fsx Airports List Manual Theyd KnowI know; if theyd read the user manual theyd know that was not the case and that AIFP reverts to the positional data from the airport text or traffic file.) The message is still issued when you manually validate the flight plans using Flight Plans Validate. When I choose validate traffic files manually it does not report any missing airports. Don BTW, just before you do, are any of the airports the were previously declared missing actually used in the flightplans If not, they will never be reported missing because they are never used. That too is a change form 1.6.35. Only those airports that are actually used that are missing from airportList.dat are ever reported missing.
